Position Summary

The Operations Lead is responsible for overseeing daily cleaning operations, ensuring service quality across all client sites, and managing field staff performance. This role is critical to maintaining OCC Clean’s reputation for high-quality, reliable service in Class A commercial environments and residential accounts.

This position acts as the bridge between field staff and leadership, ensuring all services are delivered according to scope, schedule, and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

• Oversee daily cleaning operations across multiple client sites

• Ensure all services are delivered per Scope of Work (SOW)

• Coordinate coverage for call-outs, absences, and emergencies

• Support scheduling adjustments in coordination with Admin

Quality Control & Inspections

• Perform routine site inspections (with photos and reports)

• Identify deficiencies and implement corrective actions immediately

• Maintain OCC Clean quality standards across all accounts

• Follow up on client concerns and resolve issues promptly

Team Leadership & Supervision

• Supervise custodial staff and site supervisors

• Train new hires on cleaning procedures, safety, and expectations

• Enforce company policies, SOPs, and safety protocols (OSHA compliant)

• Motivate and hold team accountable for performance

Client Support

• Act as first point of contact for on-site client concerns

• Maintain professional relationships with property managers and tenants

• Ensure client satisfaction and retention

Inventory & Supplies

• Monitor and manage cleaning supplies and equipment

• Ensure all sites are properly stocked and organized

• Coordinate supply orders with management

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in janitorial, facilities, or cleaning operations

• Previous supervisory or team lead experience preferred

• Strong attention to detail and quality standards

• Reliable transportation (travel between sites required)

• Ability to work flexible hours (evenings + occasional daytime)

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred (Not Required)

• Experience in commercial Class A office cleaning

• Knowledge of OSHA standards and cleaning best practices

• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
